Fun Times

This last Saturday my mom and I decided that we were going to be brave and we took my kids and Shaunas 4 kids on Trax to go to Temple Square. It started out just great. The kids were all excited to ride the train. Josh hasn't been on it since he was a newborn and Quinn had never been. When the train finally got there the kids rushed on and instantly started fighting over who got to sit next to who.

Zach abstolutely LOVED the train and was dancing and kicking his legs the entire time. Unfortunately the other kids soon became bored with the constant stopping and starting and were ready for something else to happen. When we finally made it downtown we walked over to Temple Square. Zach and Josh were excited because they love to walk around and look at all the fountains and statues. We started by going into the visitors center. The kids were all really good and sat quietly and listened. Then we headed out onto the grounds. Sadly at this point they had decided that they were hungry and bored and wanted to go home. We tried to stick it out for a little while and take some pictures, but eventually we gave in and headed back to the train. The ride home was quite as all the kids were tired. Zach was mad when we got off the train to go home but I think he forgave me. All in all it was a fun day, just a little more than my mom and I could deal with on our own!
